Anthracnose Spraying

March—April

Anthracnose is an infectious disease that manifests in the late Spring. Ash and Sycamore trees are most affected, experiencing premature leaf drop and branch dieback in summer.

  • Preventative treatments are necessary to minimize the infection
  • Reducing the cycle of fungus growth and germination will minimize tree damage and allergens in the air.
  • Three applications of a preventative fungicide should be applied 2-3 weeks apart, begining in early March, to help control this condition throughout the growing season.
